The film Blau reflects on the solitary confrontation with loneliness, where nature and the aesthetic beauty and depth of a single color offer comfort. For this film, director Antonia Rehnen collaborated with sound designer Wart Wamsteker, who makes the images resonate beautifully and movingly with sound, and musician René Duursma, whose rich and experimental soundscape carries the film.
