Letters die dansen

Synopsis

Synopsis

In the short documentary Letters that Dance, Groningen filmmaker Rianne Aalbers captures the quiet struggle of three people for whom the world of letters sometimes seems locked. Not being able to read a book to your children, repeatedly failing a test, or struggling to find work — the protagonists in Letters that Dance each had their own reason to confront their low literacy.

Ricardo, Thierry, and Simone from Groningen received help from the Taalhuis, yet the road remains long, full of uncertainties and obstacles. The film reveals their courage, perseverance, and the steps they take to move forward.
